Clockmaker Shop

from The Bucket by Larry Salomon Project

/

about

The original version of this song was written in 1990 and recorded on my album _Reflections_, which was produced on cassette and given to friends for Christmas. It consisted of an acoustic guitar, glockenspiel, wood blocks, and a string pad. The inspiration came from Lee Hodge's creations, which frequently had an acoustic guitar in them.

The song was arranged as an orchestral piece in 2005, and then "reworked" in 2010 to use new sound libraries. However, it wasn't until this version was released that my capabilities as an arranger and mixing engineer caught up with the original vision of the piece.
